Photography in Eastwood, Nottinghamshire

Eastwood’s just over the county line, one of the few pages on here that isn’t Derbyshire, and it’s a short run from me in Belper. I photograph businesses there where they work, a shop on Nottingham Road or a van out on a job, so it’s you and your people in the pictures, not somebody off a stock site.

Who can photograph my business in Eastwood, Nottinghamshire?

North Bear Media, run by Norton Hunt in Belper. He photographs Eastwood and Broxtowe businesses where they work, from shops on Nottingham Road to trades working both sides of the border. Regular photos come through Found & Filmed at £995 a month, or a one-off shoot is scoped as a project. The £295 Marketing MOT is the place to start.

Eastwood’s in Broxtowe, but a lot of the work there goes back and forth over the border.

It’s on the Nottinghamshire side, with the shops along Nottingham Road, and plenty of the trades there work both sides of the line, Derbyshire one week and Notts the next.

For photos, that means your customers have somebody from Nottingham or the Derbyshire side they could ring instead, and they’ve not met any of you. They go on what they can see. A proper photo of you and your van beats a stock picture of a bloke in a hard hat every time, and that’s what I’ll get you.

I bring the cameras and lights out to you. If it’s a shop we do it in the shop, and if you’re a trade we do it on a job or round the yard, wherever the work happens. It’s a short run over from Belper.

Google’s map results don’t stop at the county line, so somebody searching from Heanor or Langley Mill could get you or a firm on the Derbyshire side. Proper photos on your Google listing help you be the one they pick.

You can have one shoot, or have me back every quarter.

If it’s one thing you need, new photos for the website say, that’s a one-off shoot. I’ll find out what it’s for and give you a price before anything’s booked.

The other way is Found & Filmed, £995 a month. I come out to you for a filming day each quarter and get the photos and the video in one go, then I edit it all and post it for you steadily. You’re not stuck every week trying to think what to put up, because you’ve got a business to run and I’ve got this.

There’s more to it than photos, the Google and AI search side and the replies, and the Found & Filmed page has the full list. It’s rolling monthly with 30 days’ notice either way, so if it’s not working you stop.

Not sure photos are the thing to sort first? The MOT’s £295 and you can order it right here. That’s where I’d start.

None of these are in Eastwood, but they’re all shot on location, like The Electric Van Co’s launch and Richford’s recovery truck out on the yard. Same kit, same approach, at yours.

How an Eastwood shoot goes.

Every job’s different, but this is how it goes.

  1. 01 //

    What they’re for

You tell me where the photos are going, the website or your Google listing, and I put a shot list together from that.

  2. 02 //

    Over the border

I come over to Eastwood with the kit and fit round your day, so you’re not closing up for me.

  3. 03 //

    The edit

I retouch the best ones, colour and tidying up, then send them over sized for the web and for print.

  4. 04 //

    Using them

On Found & Filmed they go out on your posts a few at a time. On a one-off they’re yours to use however you like.

Client view

Common questions about photography in Eastwood.

How much does business photography cost in Eastwood?

A one-off shoot in Eastwood is priced as a project: I find out what the photos are for and give you a price before it’s booked. For new photos regularly, Found & Filmed is £995 a month with a filming day on site each quarter, a lot less than hiring someone and buying cameras for them. The Marketing MOT is £295 if you want to see where you stand first.

What do I get after the shoot?

Edited, retouched photos in high resolution, sized for your website and for print, with full commercial usage rights. If you’re a trade, some of them will be you and the van out on a real job.

Where do shoots take place?

Wherever the work happens: in the shop, or out on a job on either side of the border if you’re a trade. If a shoot needs a studio I’ll sort one, and I bring the lights with me either way.

How long does a typical shoot take?

One to three hours. If some of it’s out on a job, I’ll work the timings round where you’re going to be.

Can I use the photos commercially?

Yes. Full commercial usage rights come with every photo. Adverts are fine as well, not just your own website.

Other things I do for Eastwood businesses.

If it’s more than photos you’re after, these are the other Eastwood pages, plus a post I wrote on why proper photos are worth having.

P200// OVER TO YOU

Does your Eastwood business come up when people search from both sides of the border, and is it you in the photos when it does?

The MOT is the quickest way to see where you come up, on Google and in ChatGPT, for £295. Or if you’d like to talk about a shoot, book a call.
