Richford Motor Services. Careers pages that stay open all year.
Richford always need recovery drivers and people for the control room, so I built them careers pages that stay open all year, with a simple form to apply on. Then I keep the jobs in front of people with recruitment posts for wherever they’re hiring at the time.
CAREERS PAGES LIVE 23 JULY 2026

Who built Richford Motor Services’ careers pages?
North Bear Media built them. Norton Hunt, from Belper, Derbyshire, built careers pages that stay open all year for Richford Motor Services, a recovery firm in Alfreton, and runs its recruitment posts. Careers pages are scoped as a project, and posting is part of Found & Filmed at £995 a month. The £295 Marketing MOT is the usual starting point.

A recovery firm that always needs drivers
Richford Motor Services is a vehicle recovery firm in Alfreton, with depots that include Newark, Tuxford, Stoke and the Luton area. The recovery drivers work shifts round the clock, on-call included, and the controllers run the control room, so Richford need both, all year round.
Richford is an ongoing client of mine, so recruitment is one part of what I do for them. I look after the Richford Vehicle Sales website and their social media, and the careers pages sit on that website, with a link across from the main Richford Motors site.
- ROLES //Recovery driver, recovery controller
- SHIFTS //Round the clock, including on-call
- RECRUITING IN //Newark, Tuxford, Stoke, Luton area (from 24 September 2026)
Why a campaign on its own wasn’t enough
A paid campaign only works while you’re paying for it, and Richford need drivers the whole time.
Earlier in 2026 I ran Richford’s driver recruitment as a paid social media campaign, which sent people to a separate application form set up just for those adverts.
What Richford wanted next was something permanent: careers pages for drivers and controllers that are always open, and a simple form that sends each application straight to their recruitment team, with a CV if somebody’s got one.
How I broke the brief down
Richford’s brief was short, but doing it properly split into four parts.
- 01One home for every roleA careers hub with a page each for recovery drivers and recovery controllers, open all year, so every post and every link has got somewhere to send people.
- 02Make applying simpleA short form with a few questions for each role, like licence category for drivers, and a CV upload if they’ve got one. Every application goes straight to Richford’s recruitment inbox, with any CV attached.
- 03Get the roles foundJob listing data is code on both role pages that lets them show up in Google’s job search. There’s a link across from the Richford Motors careers page too.
- 04Keep them in front of peopleRecruitment posts and posters for the areas Richford are hiring in, and they change whenever the need changes.
What I built, and when
- 01 //
Careers pages go live
On 23 July 2026 the careers hub went live, with a page under it for each role, one for recovery drivers and one for recovery controllers, each with its own application form.
- CV uploads checked and stored securely
- Each application emailed to Richford’s recruitment team, with a backup copy
- Consent box tied to Richford’s privacy policy
- Linked from the Richford Motors careers page
- 02 //
Built to be found
Job listing data on both role pages, checked in Google’s Rich Results Test, Google’s own checker for it. The dates on the listings roll forward on their own, so a role that’s always open never shows as expired.
- Eligible for Google’s job search
- Each new hiring area added to the job locations

Recruitment posts by area
From 14 August I did posts and posters for each area Richford needed to fill, starting with Newark, and updated the careers pages to match.
- One poster design, reworked for each area, in feed and story sizes
- A short recruitment reel cut from footage of Richford’s fleet
I photograph the fleet as well
Alongside the recruitment work, I take the photos of Richford’s fleet. This is one of their trucks on the yard.

Richford tell me where they need people next
Since the careers pages went live, where Richford need people has moved a lot, and the work has moved with it. It was Newark in August, then Stoke and Sheffield, then Dunstable, Luton, Milton Keynes and Bedford, then back to Newark, Tuxford, Stoke and Luton, with controllers alongside.
Each time it changes, I do posts and posters for those areas and update the careers pages and the Google job listings to match.
The roles are still open, so the work’s still going
Recruitment is part of what I do for Richford now. These are the additions since the pages went live, and what I’m looking at next.
- 01Controllers are offered the assessment straight awaySince 9 September, anyone who applies for a controller role gets offered Richford’s online assessment as soon as their application’s in.
- 02Depot cards on the driver pageSince 24 September the driver page shows where Richford are hiring right now, with a card for each depot: Newark, Tuxford, Stoke and the Luton area. Each card has its own apply button, which fills the depot in for them.
- 03Every application records where it came fromAlso since 24 September, each application records where the person saw the job, and which platform or post brought them in when the link’s got a tag on the end of it, without storing anything on their device.
- 04What I want to find out nextNow the sources are being recorded, I can answer the question that matters: which posts and platforms bring in the people Richford want to interview, not just the most applications.

What this job used
Recruitment for Richford pulls on several different skills at once, so there’s a page here for most of them.
Say somebody near you looked for what you do, or for one of the jobs you’re hiring for. Would they find you?
Start with the MOT. It’s £295, and the first thing I check is whether Google and ChatGPT mention you at all, then I tell you exactly what to fix first. Or if it’s recruitment that’s bothering you, book a call and we’ll talk it through.
