P981// WORK HERE FILMS

Work Here films are short recruitment videos that show people what it’s actually like to work for you.

A Work Here film is a short video of your own team talking about what the job’s like, filmed where they work. It goes on your job adverts and your careers page so people see the place before they apply. It’s built for the job you’re struggling to fill.

Who makes recruitment videos for businesses in Derbyshire?

North Bear Media, run by Norton Hunt in Belper, makes Work Here films for Derbyshire employers struggling to hire. They’re short recruitment videos of their own team at work, for job adverts and careers pages. Each film is priced after a quick chat, and for wider marketing the £295 Marketing MOT is the usual place to start.

It’s for the job you can’t fill

Most job adverts say the same thing, a competitive salary and a great team, so nobody can tell one place from the next.

The advert goes up on Indeed, or wherever you normally put them, and either nobody applies or you get a pile of people who haven’t read it, while somebody covers two jobs in the meantime.

The film lets people look round first and hear about the job from whoever’s already doing it, not from an advert. People believe that.

Before this I was operations director for a logistics business, about 100 vehicles and loads of staff. I’ve been on the employer’s side of hiring, and I know what an empty seat costs you.

How it works, roughly

  1. 01 //

    A call about the job

We talk through the job and the person you’re after, so I know exactly what the film has to get across.

  2. 02 //

    Filming on site

I chat to your team about the job while I’m filming, so nobody has to present anything or learn lines. Talking straight to a camera takes a lot out of people. This way they relax, and it shows.

  3. 03 //

    The edit

Then I edit it into the film for your job advert and your careers page.

Have you got any I can watch?

Not on here yet. Once the first ones are done, and the businesses are happy for me to show them, they’ll go on this page.

The closest work I can show you is the recruitment work I do for Richford Motor Services in Alfreton: careers pages and recruitment posts for their recovery drivers and controllers. It’s not a Work Here film, but it’s the same problem, jobs that need filling all year round.

What it costs

A Work Here film is priced after a quick chat, once I know about the job and who you’re after.

Got a job that’s been sat open a while?

Book a call and we’ll talk the job through, and who you’re after, and I’ll tell you straight whether a film will help. Your call after that.

Questions about Work Here films

How much does a Work Here film cost?

A Work Here film is priced after a quick chat, so book a call or get in touch and I’ll go through it with you.

My team won’t want to be on camera. Is that a problem?

No, because nobody has to present anything. I chat to them about the job while I film.

We’re not a glamorous place to work. Will a film still help?

Yes. People want to know what the job is like before they apply, so the film shows the place and the team as they are, and I never make it look like something it isn’t.

Is a Work Here film part of Found & Filmed?

No, it’s separate. Found & Filmed is my retainer, at £995 a month, for being found on Google and in AI search with a filming day on site each quarter, and a Work Here film is for a job you’re trying to fill.

P991// OVER TO YOU

When somebody round here thinks about applying and looks you up on Google, what do they find?

Most people look you up first, the same as a customer would. The MOT shows you exactly what they’d find, starting with whether ChatGPT and Google mention you at all. If it’s just the film you’re after, book a call instead.
