A British manufacturer of purpose-built electric vans for last-mile delivery fleets needed a website that could sell a £15,000+ vehicle to commercial buyers. Here's what I built.
The Electric Van Co builds purpose-built electric vans for UK commercial fleets - the CitySprint range, available in cargo, refrigerated, pickup, tipper and flatbed configurations. Their buyers are fleet operators making five-figure purchasing decisions, which means the website has to do serious work: explain the product, prove the economics, and make the next step easy.
This is exactly the world I know from my time as an operations director in logistics - fleet costs, last-mile pressures, and the questions a transport manager actually asks before committing to new vehicles.
A hand-coded, mobile-first website covering the CitySprint range - five variants with clear pricing - plus fleet cost comparison against diesel, event information, fleet-operator testimonials, and clear routes to book a test drive or get a quote.
Everything is built for a commercial buyer doing their homework: fast pages, plain-English product information, and the credibility signals a fleet manager checks before shortlisting a supplier.
